The Art of Eating
A publication of great class and pedigree, and still relatively
unknown in the food and wine world, is The Art of Eating.
Self-published by Ed Behr for over ten years, it is a throwback
to the days of quality journalism, balanced insight, and
beautifully designed layout. Each issue is an education
in a topic or a place, from Piedmonte to Tokyo to the New
England coast. It is worth every dollar for the subscription. Be
sure to check out the back issue list.

VinMaps.com
Outstanding maps of wine regions are hard to find, but the
best are available from VinMaps.com. These are the
maps we use at our office and for our tasting events.
Incredible detail and rich color make these better than
all maps we’ve found.

Robin Garr’s WineLoversPage.com
When the internet first started buzzing, suddenly there
were hundreds of sites devoted to wine. Everybody,
it seemed, was an expert and the millions of opinions only
served to confuse the general public. The smart ones
took the roll of wine educator and information organizer,
rather than review dictator. The best of these is
Robin Garr’s WineLoversPage.com. Robin has assembled
an all-star team of writers scouring the globe to give you
unbiased wine opinions and advice. The depth of this
site is amazing, and within it you will find almost all
of your questions answered.

run by John Gauntner, the number one English speaking sake’
expert. From here you can learn all you need to navigate
